The best thing about the cruise was the fact that we truly felt as though we had gotten away from everything. The ship itslf was beautiful. As for being memorable, I guess the ice rink was kind of a neat and unusual feature. The thing that could have been improved was their approach to first time cruisers. As there were some mobility issues, it would have been helpful to have had some information right away in order to avoid any extra running around / wandering around aimlessly and lost. There was a first time cruisers meeting on the Sunday, however there was no time nor place indicated so we assumed that there would be an announcement - after all they were able to announce anything else to people. This never happened and when I indicated my frustration with this, I was largely ignored. This got us off to a somewhat bad start, however we figured things out on our own and made the best of things. Another thing that was disappointing for me was that comments made to staff were largely ignored at the time. We checked on our Sea Pass charges and found that we had been charged for 5 ground transfers (4 would have been the appropriate number). We immediately contacted guest services and asked them to rectify this matter. While assuring us that they would look into this matter, we still had to re-address the extra charges again which we did after waiting a full 24 hours to do. I find it a little difficult to understand why this could not have happened after our first call. Don't get me wrong!!! We did have a great time over all and are looking forward to our next cruise - Alaska, I'm thinking.
