Best things about the cruise: 1. The crew and the service. 2. The design of Cunard ships. Cunard does not force you to walk thru the casino or the photo gallery every day to get around the ship. 3. Cunard does not continually ask you to buy alcohol. 4. Cunard always has several speakers on board. We found the speakers informative and thought provoking. Most memorable thing was not buying the helicopter trip on Kauai on the ship for $345 and buying it on land for $122. Kauai is spectacular from the air! What could be improved? DISEMBARCATION! We experienced 2 disembarcations in LA because we were also on the Panama Canal cruise and we wanted to get off to visit friends. Both were chaotic affairs because Cunard abdicates orderly management of the process. My advice to anyone taking a Cunard or other cruise that ends in the US is to NOT book an early flight home because you might be prevented from getting to the airport in time by either US Homeland Security or by Cunard's mismanagement. Book either a later flight or extend your vacation in the disembarcation port or area by a day or more.
