The many countries of Europe can seem overwhelming to travellers, especially for first timers. One of the best ways to explore Europe is on a cruise because you get to explore many different countries and only have to unpack once!
In the Mediterranean, you’ll discover fabulous ports of call in Greece, Italy and more. Santorini, one of the Greek Isles, is home to many beautiful beaches. Perissa Beach is a tourist favourite. Visitors come to Alaska for a number of reasons, the vast wilderness, amazing wildlife, rich native culture, gold rush history and of course the glaciers. When visiting Alaska, an ocean view stateroom with a private veranda is a must. From the Inside Passage to the emerald waters of Tracy Arm, watching the world go by from your private balcony will make your cruise that much more special. Capture spectacular photographs of cascading waterfalls, mountain peaks and seals sunning themselves on the large ice flows that have calved away from the glaciers.
In Skagway, ride on the White Pass Railway as it takes you on a scenic journey up to Whitehorse. Built in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush, this narrow gauge railroad is an International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark. The views are spectacular as the train climbs from Skagway, Alaska to Fraser BC - rising nearly 3,000 feet in 26 miles of steep grades and cliff-hanging turns.
